  • He was born on February 10 right after a blizzard


  • He has 2 brothers (David and Chad) born on the same day (Nov. 15) 11 years apart


  • His favorite children’s books are Me Too Iguana by Jacquelyn Reinach, A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon, Sylvester and the Magic Pebble by William Steig, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle 


  • His favorite color is blue 


  • His wife's name is Elizabeth


  • He has two daughters: Tess and Elise


  • He loves rock n’ roll and going to concerts


  • He and his wife play in a band called The Lovebirds
  • He taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, 6th grade, and he’s been a media specialist 


  • He taught English to high school students from Spain and France 


  • He has been to 39 states in the USA, Canada, Ireland, and England


  • He used to be super shy and terrified of speaking in front of people, now he loves it and does it for a living
